San Marcos in Valley

I love the food here. It is by far the best Mexican in Valley. The food gets five stars the service is usually quick and the prices are pretty on point for the amount of food you get.

Great food. They had great prices. Excellent service. My frozen peach margarita was perfectly mixed. They also had the most meat in a quesadilla that I have had at a Mexican Restaurant in a long time. My only issue was that when the air kicked on, it let out a rancid smell of a dead animal like some9got stuck in the vents or something. If it hadn't been for the smell, I would have given 5 stars.

I couldn't post this without a star, otherwise I wouldn't have put even 1!Worst experience with a Manager/Owner ever! My husband and I ate there last Friday night. I ordered a chicken taco salad and ate about half. I found something in my salad that looked greyish and was about the consistency of putty. I told the waiter and he told the manger/owner. The manager looked at it and insisted it was steak; there is no way this was steak. The manager went to the kitchen, returned and said it was mud. He also repeatedly stated that there isn't mud in the kitchen and it couldn't have come from the kitchen. then he pointed to a camera above my shoulder and said that he would review the camera to see if I put it there. They took it off our bill, but the insinuation was insulting. He never apologized, just acted like I put it there. I called the health department to follow up.

It was good! I was surprised, because I have high standards when it comes to Mexican food. Was surprised by it authenticity.

Stopped in for a to go order, and was very pleased with the menu, atmosphere, and the margaritas. We thoroughly enjoyed our food once we got back to the hotel. It's a definite will stop again if in the area. Great food, great price, great drinks.

Went to this restaurant specifically for the fried ice cream. It was every bit as good as I remember it from my childhood! The meal prior was quite good as well. I had the quesadilla supreme.

It was really good food, authentic Mexican, really nice service... but I will only give it 4 stars because they said they closed at 10, and by 9 o'clock my girlfriend tried to order some dessert and the server said she couldn't because they were closing. She asked them if they were open until 10 and he said yes... it seemed like they were trying to close early, and were just waiting on us to leave and it was only 9pm. When we went outside they had already turned off the "open" sign. Good place to eat, just don't go too late.

Good food and a wide variety of menu selections. Plenty of room so even when they are busy there is always available seating.

Awesome Mexican restaurant! The owner of this restaurant has been in business at this location for over 7 years and in the restaurant business overall over 19 yrs. He personally greets all patrons and makes sure everything is great. This has been the third time going here and will not be our last. Highly recommend this place even if one had to drive several miles to get here, you would not be disappointed.The fee food is abundantly flavorfull and the portions are large. The salsa and chips are wonderful too!The service is exceptional and efficient.The restaurant seating area and the restrooms are super clean and their posted health rating is 100%. Need I say more?Definitely a 5 star plus restaurant.

We got our food quickly. The waiter was very polite and was there every time we needed something.

The steak and chicken fajitas were ready and the floor tortillas were plentiful and hot, but the sides were mediocre.
